Dr. B is a board-certified Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist who brings together advanced clinical expertise with a modern, personalized approach to eye care. With a passion for both high-tech diagnostics and curated eyewear styling, she’s dedicated to helping patients look, feel, and see their best, all within a welcoming and contemporary clinic setting.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with emphasis in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, graduating with honors. Dr. B then received her Doctorate from the prestigious Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, where she completed rigorous clinical training at leading institutions including the Illinois Eye Institute and the Tallahassee VA Medical Center.

With extensive experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions, from diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma to macular degeneration, dry eye, and myopia control, Dr. B is committed to delivering comprehensive, customized care. She also has specialized training in fitting specialty contact lenses designed to meet the unique needs of each patient.

After completing her education, Dr. B relocated to Texas, her husband’s hometown, and has proudly called it home ever since. She has been serving the Collin County community since 2019, where she is known for her compassionate care, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring every patient feels heard, respected, and well cared for. Dr. B is an active member of American Optometric Association (AOA), Texas Optometry Association (TOA), Northeast Texas Optometric Society (NETOS), McKinney Chamber of Commerce, and Women's Alliance of McKinney (WAM).

When she’s not in the clinic, Dr. B enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband, two children, and their huskies.
